Our large database of more than 1000 healthy volunteers provides subjects for a variety of pharmacokinetic studies. Shandon also has access to elderly volunteers through a strategic partnership, purposefully developed to allow access to further test resources.

We have an experience of a variety of delivery systems, including tablets, capsules, solutions and suspensions, transdermal, intranasal, buccal and rectal applications, and also products designed for topical application to various parts of the body.

We have specific expertise in the conduct of pilot studies with formulations designed for delayed release; studies looking at food interaction are also commonly performed.

Past studies have involved most therapeutic areas, including anti-infective's, neuropsychiatric agents, non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, anti-hypertensives, anti-diabetic agents, drugs used in peptic ulcer disease, anti-tussives, anti-histamines, corticosteroids and diuretics, amongst others.
